Poor People’s Pub

The Poor People’s Pub stands as one of the island’s most beloved eateries. Chef and owner, Ross Audino delights palates with an eclectic menu featuring local catches and comfort foods. Their motto is “Nothing Fancy, Just Good Grub. Island Style.” And they deliver exactly that and more.

Located right across the street from the Block Island Grocery, PPP (as the locals call it) is a short walk from the ferry and worth every step.

Great atmosphere, laid back with porch and outside dining. Love the creative specials with some great “island” fare as well. Best stuffies on Island.

Classic pub atmosphere with a unique twist on traditional pub food. The staff was busy but friendly, and the service was excellent. They serve Stella on tap just the way I like it – within reach!
